Two weeks ago I had the pleasure to come back for three days in Bergen, Norway. The main reason was photographing my first Norwegian wedding but I also enjoyed seeing my favorite city again .
Even if I lived for almost one year in Oslo, for me, Bergen is more impressive. The second largest city in Norway, Bergen has an amazing architecture, with lovely colorful houses and narrow streets. (Click the pictures for full size)

If you like hiking you can do a easy one in a way to the Floien Mountain where you will get a beautiful view. If you don’t, then the best way to get there is by funicular.

PS: Fun fact regarding hiking and Norwegians. The tradition on Sundays in Bergen is to hike all seven mountains around all day. And don’t think that they have picnic on the top or something. They take maximum 10 minutes break in the top of each mountain. What a work out!
Of course, some of them are relaxing in their boats…
After this trip I got hungry so I went to the fish market. If you like the sea food, that’s the place to be! And by the way, if you are going there before closing time, you can get a 50% discount for food.
PS: I tried sushi for the first time in my life. I fall in love with them!
Bergen is so beautiful but has one think that I don’t like that much. Rain, a lot of rain. So be prepared. Is raining so many times in a day that I stopped counting. And of course, I had a lot of rain while I was shooting the wedding . Actually I had all kinds of weather that day. Actually three hours.
In the evening I had a walk in the most charm street, Bryggen. With love, from Bergen!
